Coach Tigert took over as the boys basketball head coach in 2018. During his tenure, he has led the Admirals to a record of 73 - 22.  Previously, Tigert served as the Head Coach at Marshall County for six seasons and at his Alma Mater, Dickson County High School, for six seasons as well, posting an overall record of 263 - 191.  Coach Tigert attended the University of Memphis majoring in Political Science. He is married to Jessica and they have one daughter named Cater Ann.
