The Franklin High Tennis Team traveled to the Siegel Doubles Tournament March 9 at Old For Park in Murfreesboro. The Rebels competed against 14 Tennessee Schools and over 250 players from across the state. The Lady Rebels secured a back to back Tournament Championship Win on the girls side. This is included Catey Jackson and Lisa Messier taking 1st overall, Meera Unni and Natasha Messier taking  2nd overall, and Ella Bare and Ella Whatley at 8th overall. Jackson/Messier went undefeated on the day, and Unni/Messier only loss was to their own teammates Jackson/L.Messier. The Boys improved on their 4th place finish from last year and were runner up to Central Magnet securing 2nd place overall in the tournament. This included a 2nd overall by Tim Marcum and Jordan Timmerberg, a 4th place by Read Cox and Joshua Whitehead, and an 18th place by Diego Avendano and John Vargas. The FHS Tennis Team starts their regular season with a home District Match vs. Dickson on Monday before traveling to Lipscomb Academy on Tuesday and Nolensville on Wednesday.
