The Franklin High School Lady Rebels Bowling team earned wins over Brentwood and Hume-Fogg to capture the Region Championship. In the semifinal match, the Lady Rebels were led by Riley Garretson with a high game of 162 and a series of 408. Garretson led the team to a 19-8 (2316-2190) win. In the championship match, Garretson once again proved too much for the opponent by bowling a high game of 168 with Andi Nigro bowling a high series of 405. The team won 17-10 (2322-2217) in the final. The Lady Rebels will host Creekwood in the Sub-state on January 12 at Franklin Lanes. The match will take place at 9:00 a.m.
