Email: jaimie.carolan@wcs.edu

Coach Carolan started coaching both cross country and track at Franklin in 2016. Under her leadership, the girls’ teams have improved tremendously. Cross country has finished as high as 5th at the state meet and is consistently ranked in the top 10 each year. In addition, track and field consistently brings more individuals to the state meet each season.

Carolan ran cross country, track, and played soccer from middle school through high school in Washington State. In high school, she qualified for state 8 times individually and placed 3rd in the 800m, for which she still holds the school’s record in. After a standout high school career, Carolan went on to run for Lipscomb University. She graduated from Lipscomb with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and currently works at Vanderbilt University on the Stem Cell Transport floor.

Coach Jaimie is married to Coach Cormac Carolan and together they coach boys and girls track and field and cross country. They just so happened to be married on the same day of the state cross country meet a few years ago. They successfully coached all morning then went on to be married that same afternoon. They recently welcomed their son, Kai ino the world who is considered their unofficial coach.
